Terms of Service

By using Omekolo you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

1. What Omekolo is

Omekolo is a personal habit and goal tracker delivered over WhatsApp. We send you prompts, you reply with your check-ins, and we summarise your progress weekly. The service is provided “as is” with reasonable care but without warranty of uninterrupted availability.

To keep the service reliable and its AI costs sustainable while we test and refine it, there is a daily limit on how many coaching replies you can receive in a rolling 24-hour period (currently 100 — high enough that normal use should never reach it). If you do reach it, we’ll let you know and pick back up once the window resets. Goal changes, account questions, and similar quick actions don’t count against this limit.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must use a WhatsApp number you own and control.

3. Your account

Your WhatsApp phone number is your account. You are responsible for everything that happens through it. If your number is reassigned or compromised, message us so we can lock the account.

4. Subscription, billing, and trial

  • New users start with a 15-day free trial. No payment is collected until the trial ends.
  • Two paid tiers are available, Starter and Pro, each billed either monthly or annually (an annual plan costs 10× the monthly price — 2 months free compared to paying monthly). Current pricing by market is shown on our pricing page.
  • Payment is taken in advance for the billing period you choose, via Razorpay (India) or PayPal (all other markets). The subscription auto-renews until you cancel.
  • Upgrading (Starter to Pro) takes effect immediately — you get Pro features right away, at no extra charge for the remainder of your current billing period. Your billing adjusts to the Pro price starting at your next renewal.
  • Downgrading (Pro to Starter) takes effect at your next billing cycle — you keep Pro access and pricing until then.
  • Plan changes are not prorated: switching tiers or billing period never produces a partial refund or a partial extra charge for the period already paid.
  • If a payment fails, we will retry per the processor’s standard schedule. If it continues to fail, your account is suspended.
  • Current pricing is an introductory price, lower than what we expect to charge once the product is more mature. Prices may increase over time; any material price change will follow the 14-day notice described in Section 12.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by replying CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION on WhatsApp — this stops billing via the payment processor directly. (STOP and PAUSE only silence daily check-in messages; they do not cancel or pause billing on their own.) You can also cancel directly in your PayPal or Razorpay account if you prefer. Either way, your access continues until the end of the current paid period — no immediate cutoff, no proration.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Omekolo for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
  • Send content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to break, probe, or overload our systems, or use Omekolo to send spam through WhatsApp.
  • Resell or repackage the service or use it on behalf of third parties without our written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund, and report serious abuse to law enforcement.

8. Content you send

You keep ownership of the messages, goals, and check-ins you send. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process them only to run the service for you (including sending them to our service providers listed in the Privacy Policy).

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Omekolo running reliably but we do not guarantee any specific uptime. The WhatsApp / Twilio network is outside our control. A missed prompt or a delayed message is not a breach of this agreement.

Omekolo is a productivity tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or financial advice. If you are dealing with a health crisis, please contact a qualified professional.

Coaching replies, streak counts, and summaries are generated with the help of AI models responding to instructions we write. Despite our care, AI-generated replies can occasionally be inaccurate, miscalculate, or misunderstand what you meant, and the instructions behind them are continually refined as the product matures. Treat Omekolo’s replies as supportive guidance, not as a guaranteed-accurate record — if something looks wrong, tell us and we’ll look into it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may change the service, the price, or these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you via WhatsApp at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, cancel before the change date.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, India, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
